Helico Sonoma
Helico Sonoma was established in 2014 as a rotary wing flight school and helicopter tour company. The company soon expanded to include helicopter maintenance, firefighting, law enforcement support, heavy construction lift and aerial crane services, utility pole setting, commercial air charter and aerial film and photography. The Floathouse Boat Center Rental
The Floathouse floats right downtown near the Petaluma Turning Basin on the Petaluma River. Until new public docks are installed between River House and River Plaza (fall 2024), we will be linked to city docks on the downtown side of the river, near Water Street Bistro. GPS: Use 50 Water Street, Petaluma, CA.
On busy weekends, you can park in River Plaza (50 E. Washington Street) or on Weller Street (near The Yoga Post or Grand Central Petaluma) and walk through River Plaza (50 E. Washington Street) past TAPS and LUMA restaurants, over the Balshaw Pedestrian Bridge. Turn left and follow the gangway down to the river.

Safari West
Safari West was born in the late 1980s when Peter Lang purchased 400 rolling acres in the foothills of the Mayacamas Mountains. Relocating his small but growing collection of exotic wildlife, Peter quickly converted the former cattle ranch into a world-class conservation breeding facility.
As Peter set to work establishing captive breeding programs for the varied and often critically endangered species in his collection he worked closely with local zoological facilities, including, of course, the San Francisco Zoo. It was there that he met the lead curator, raptor-specialist, and his future wife, Nancy Lang. Combining their unique skill-sets, the pair set about turning this vast swath of oak woodland into the world-class wildlife preserve it is today.
